Ali is a newly published author from Far North Qld, Australia. A busy mum of five kids, her love of reading inspired her own writing and thanks to online platforms such as Wattpad and the amazing authors she met there, she is now lucky enough to be able to share her writing with a wider audience. She is eternally grateful to the wonderfully talented author Nikki Mullaney for her help and guidance. Ali is a lover of sassy female characters, Alpha male types and all of the enemies to lovers books she can find!
Allison A. Andrews is a wife and mother of one based in Brisbane, Australia.
Having always been an avid reader with an overactive imagination, when she isn't writing, she loves spending time with family and friends, travelling the world, and dreaming of the next story she can tell.
A L Rojo is an author, educator, wife and mother who lives in Sydney, Australia.
From a young age, she understood the power of getting lost in a good book.
After giving herself permission to explore her creativity, she found that she loves writing novels that focus on strong female characters, love, spice, and the wonderful complexities of life.
Her goal is to simply create worlds where anyone can escape into, for however long they may need.
She says that along this journey she has left behind a piece of herself in every character she creates.
A.M. Nelson is a self-certified book worm with book dragon tendencies. She lives in Melbourne, Australia with her soon-to-be husband, three kids, and her array of pets – a cat (Tully), bearded dragon (Viserion), and Great Dane (Koda).
When she’s not writing, A.M. Nelson can be found adding books to her never ending TBR, playing sport with her family, or giving in to her unparalleled obsession with coconut and chocolate (bounty bars, coconut rough etc).
Alexcis is a debut indie author from Central Queensland who has a love for dark why choose romances.
Alice Stanco is a full-time writer who has spent most of her life between the pages of fantasy books. When not obsessing over fictional characters, she can usually be found celebrating Christmas at any given time or frolicking in proper ADHD fashion.
While a born-and-raised American, Alice is also half English. This can be seen in her writing, as it explores the many cultural differences in a fictional sense.
Mental health representation is also a strong focus in Alice’s work, and is a passion that will ring true indefinitely.
Dive headfirst into her enchanted fantasy world, explore the thrill of love and darkness intertwined, and you may find yourself not wanting to return…
Bindi Kennedy lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband, two eternally embarrassed daughters, and the true loves of her life, her fur babies. She loves potatoes, hates balloons, and has an unhealthy obsession with Scottish Highlanders in kilts.
When she’s not adding a heartfelt twist to her fun, flirty and spicy romcoms, Bindi can be found reading, or listening to Taylor Swift...probably while crying.
👋🏼 I'm Brittany Rianne, a Romance Author from Australia. My heart belongs to the world of love stories, and I’m a complete sucker for a happy-ever-after. I embarked on my writing journey in 2023, fuelled by a rediscovered passion for reading and the unwavering support of an incredible online community that breathed life into my dreams.
My debut novel, 'Falling for Fury,' is the first instalment in a five-book series of interconnected standalone’s, Central Sparks. ‘Hiding from Hope’, is the second book and is set for release on 29 July 2024.
Set against the bustling and romantic backdrop of New York City, the series follows best-friends Addison, Casey and Rosie, and the friends that make up their found family. Filled with some heavy emotion, plenty of banter, angst, swoony-romance and certainly some spicy moments, Central Sparks is epic love and deep friendship.
When I'm not lost in the world of books, writing stories, or falling for fictional characters, you'll find me savouring moments with my family and friends. Between the chapters of life, I also steal moments to recharge with a good night's sleep, copious amounts of coffee, and enjoying my own version of a cozy small-town, romance

Bronwyn's love of reading all things romantic got her into trouble at a very young age. Starting with Mills and Boon 'borrowed' from her mother and then progressing to meaty historicals and sweeping sagas, it's only fair that romance pays her back with unique ideas for her own novels.
She now writes dark and gritty Regency that borders on the edge of noir with the occasional dabble in contemporary and women's fiction. Her treehouse in the Adelaide Hills is filled with the laughter of her young kids, the meows of two white, fluffy cats and a man who thinks chivalry is what happens after you eat bad chicken.
A BILLION reasons to read … Cate Lane.
Who doesn’t love a hot billionaire in a suit?
Or maybe a former military man oozing protective vibes?
And when they meet their match with a strong independent woman … well that’s the recipe for a sizzling romance.
Cate’s books bring this and so much more, with standalone contemporary romances in an interconnected series:
• Second Chance Love
• Friends with benefits
• Enemies to Lovers
• One Night Stands
• Grumpy – Sunshine
• Workplace Romance
• Best Friend Groups
• Family ties
• And an exclusive club for some steamy Vice Club nights.
But this cast of damaged and flawed characters will find love in the most unexpected places. And while that journey may be bumpy, they will get their happy ever after with no cheating along the way.
Cate lives out her own happy ever after in Sydney, Australia with her husband and three children. When she’s not writing, she likes to spend her time on beautiful beaches reading books or dreaming up new stories.
Caz May is an author of contemporary romance of many different tropes and pairings. She loves a bit of forbidden romance so most of her books have a hit of taboo with a whole lot of angst and drama with an aussie touch.
Growing up in the eccentric streets of Melbourne, Australia, Cassandra (who prefers Cass) has always been a dreamer. With one of those last names that most people can't pronounce (it's Andre-oochi), she likes to keep people second-guessing with a new hobby every other day, way too many simultaneous writing projects, and a new book love every week.
You'll catch her in the wild with an iced coffee, a different hair colour, probably a new tattoo, and her music way too loud as she conjures up new plot points and tries to work out why her characters won't stick to the outline.
C.B. Frey is an Author from Sydney, Australia who is in love with everything romance. Her love for writing began in high school where she would write short stories of her favourite fictional prince charming's which gradually grew darker as she ventured through adulthood. As the years went on, she dabbled with writing but never truly focused on her art until her son was born.
If she’s not reading a smutty book, you can usually find her chasing her favourite bands in concert or creating her craziest fantasies.
Clare Connelly is the bestselling author of more than one hundred angsty, passionate romance novels. Having self-published her first book in 2014, by the end of that year, she was an Amazon All-Star in the US and UK and has since sold millions of copies of her books. She continues to self-publish and also writes her trademark romances for Harlequin and Tule.
Clare has lived and breathed romance for as long as she could remember. As a child, she adored fairy tales and Disney movies, as a teen it was all about romance novels: anything from Mills & Boon (which she consumed voraciously) to Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer and Jilly Cooper.
In 2023, alongside three other bestselling romance writers, Clare launched the How to Write Academy, a one-stop shop for aspiring genre writers.
Clare met her own real life hero at the tender age of eighteen. Clare lives near the sea in South Australia. When she isn't running kids to after school sports activities, listening to political podcasts or experimenting with French recipes, she's writing, thinking about writing, or wishing she were writing.
Charlize K. Kelly writes dark, paranormal romance with unorthodox characters and adventures of the deliciously corrupt kind. She’s a villain’s villain and quests for the ethereal of eighties glam rock, bridging the then and now in every chapter.
When she’s not creating fictional worlds, she spends her time reading, hanging out with her dog Satan, and blasting Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe and Bon Jovi from the coast to the Wheatbelt.
Charlize lives in Western Australia and dreams of the day somebody will bring the eighties back with a modern edge.
Chloe lives by the beach in New South Wales, Australia, with her two fluffy cats, partner, and twin sister. Ever since she was young, she has always loved to read and create stories in her mind whenever an idea presented itself and got into the romance genre in high school by reading "After" by Anna Todd on Wattpad. In recent years, her love for storytelling grew and she decided it was finally time to put pen to paper and share her ideas. She is always coming up with new ideas, so stay tuned for future projects.

Daisy Allen is just what you'd expect in a Romance Author. A quiet, mousey, head in the clouds, staring out the window daydreaming of heaving bosoms and engorged loins sort. Except that she isn't quiet, hates mice, is too short for any sort of cloud recharge, and only stares out the window when procrastinating from writing about heaving bosoms and engorged loins.
In another life she was meant to end up in a medical research lab saving lives, but that would've required her to wake up when the sun is still out and remember numbers and stuff. Staying up for nights on end binge watching Netflix then going on days long caffeine driven writing rampages before passing out from a sugar overdose turned out to be much more her pace.
But she does like long walks along the beach...looking for the keys her husband lost in the waves.
Her stories are filled with pent up sexual frustration and long rambling declarations of destined love.
Just what you'd expect from a Romance Author.
Demi Clorissa is a debut author. With her first series debuting in 2023 with the DAUGHTER OF THE WOOD trilogy, and THE LOST WITCH trilogy. She crafts heart wrenching adult romantic fantasy, with body diverse main characters, with love, magic, intimacy, heat, and heartbreak. She loves writing relationships, and experiences we see in the real world, but has a fantasy spin.
When she is not writing, you’ll find her reading anything she can get her hands on (mostly fantasy), watching trashy TV shows, and spending her afternoons at the cinema. She love food (but she is a self confessed awful cook!) She has two dachshunds, Della and Frank, who are often curled at her feet.
She a proud Indigenous woman, with connections to the Wiradjuri mob in Central NSW, but call Meeanjin (Brisbane) home.
When she was 10, Santa brought Devon a “how to write a book” journal. Publishing her debut novel more than 20 years later, she’s glad it finally got put to use.
Devon May resides in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and the two tiny humans who call her mum. When she isn’t breaking up fights, she enjoys books that either break her heart, or turn her on. She carries her emotional support Kindle everywhere, drinks far too much coffee and will never be caught without a hair tie on her wrist.
E.J. Campbell is an Aussie living in Melbourne, who loves caffeine and books, spending most of her time visiting Romancelandia. She chiefly enjoys reading reverse harem romances, especially when they’re dark and dirty, contemporary, or fantastical. Forget Me Twice is her debut novel, the first in her new Pantheon series.
Elle Mariah is a teacher turned aspiring debut Romance Author from Australia.
Growing up, her ambition was also to be able to inspire others and educate young individuals on the beauty of art and literature. For the past four years, she has successfully been able to do just that, educating young minds on the world of Creative Arts through, Painting, Photography, Graphic Design and more!
Recently she has embarked on this journey to put pen to paper and pursue her dream of becoming an author, where she could still continue to inspire others, although this time, through fictional worlds and characters.
Elle Mariah enjoys writing heartfelt, swoon-worthy, raw, romance about extremely relatable characters with snarky humour on their journey to their happily ever afters.
Writer. Reader. Perpetual student. Nerd.
I started out writing fantasy. But I like to write anything, honestly. These days, I mainly stick to YA and there's always at least a sprinkling of romance, if not a 'whoops, I dropped the whole packet in'. Almost all my books are set in my home state of South Australia, either in real or fictional places - gotta write what you know - with 'Netherfield Prep' being the only current exception.
Like most writers, I love to read. Although, time for reading at the moment is hard to come by. When I'm not too busy writing or studying, I'm usually reading a number of authors. Some of my favourites are Rick Riordan, Jane Austen, Kate Forsyth, Cecilia Dart-Thornton, Kasie West, John Flanagan, Isobelle Carmody, Christina Benjamin, Emily Rodda, and many more.
I'm an avid fan of Marvel, DC, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Red Dwarf, IT Crowd, and pretty much anything similar. I've recently discovered 'Taskmaster' and it's brilliant. I love watching soccer (go Gunners) and thoroughly look forward to seeing Eurovision every year. Celebrity crushes include Anna Kendrick and Chris Evans, because they are wonderful.
I live in Adelaide (South Australia) with my husband, smol human, and a menagerie of animals – a cat reliving her (sixth) youth, a cowardly Beagle-Cavalier who thinks he’s smaller than he is, two chickens who are terrified of free-ranging, and a turtle with a penchant for sticking her head up her filter pipe.
I have a Master of Arts (Writing) from Swinburne University of Technology and a Master of Arts (Editing and Publishing) from University of Southern Queensland. I'm currently plugging away towards my PhD in Creative Writing, working on a feminist reimagining of the Irish hero Cu Chulainn.
Evelyn Astra is a pseudonym. Evelyn is an author second, and a postgraduate university student first. She lives in Australia, loves her family’s dog (and her partner), and her favourite colour is red. You can often catch her reading steamy romance novels in between doing flashcards.
Gemma Black is a dedicated teacher by day, but when the sun sets, the handcuffs come out and she becomes a paranormal romance author. Gemma has always loved vampires, shifters and magic - and these days, the dirtier the story, the better! She loves writing books that explore the boundaries of love, fate and magic, where the heroine always gets what she needs.
When she’s not writing, Gemma reads like a fiend, drowning herself in all kinds of romance stories when she really should be sleeping. A certified introvert, Gemma spends most of her time with her husband and three kids, dragging herself to the footy when the occasion calls for it.

When I was nine, my grandmother and her friends used to read and swap Harlequin Mills and Boons novels. When I was busted reading one, they started sneaking me boxes full of strong heroines and rugged men. Thus started a long love affair with the romance genre.
Then I discovered urban fantasy, and fell in love with broody Alphas and sexy paranormals, and combining them together was a no brainer.
Then I discovered Reverse Harem.... Oh my. Why choose, am I right?
Hailey Jade is an Australian who has the audacity to think she might be able to hack it as a writer. She writes romantic fantasy that tends towards middle/dark portrayals of love, so you'll see tropes like enemies-to-lovers, hate to love, forbidden love, and essentially variations of I-want-you-but-I-don't-want-to in her books. She likes her female leads strong and her male leads a little bit wicked.
Harley Parker, is an Australian author from South West Sydney with her husband and two children. She writes both Contemporary, Dark, Mafia and Paranormal romance. She found her love for books at a young age reading books written by Meg Cabot and J.K Rowling and losing herself in the worlds other amazing authors have created.
Harley also works with her best friend to create bookish merch for other amazing Australians and Worldwide readers. You can find more information about written in the pages at: www.writteninthepages.com.au
Hayley Price has always been a storyteller. Throughout her life, she has told her story through songs as the principal songwriter in several bands, most recently Adventures With Alice, whose songs feature in many of her books.
A New Zealander, Hayley currently lives in Canberra, Australia with her long-time partner and a grumpy, bossy cat called Rosie. She loves baseball and suffers eternal torture as a fan of the San Francisco Giants. Music has been a major part of her life, and outside of her own compositions, she is a fan of Christopher Cross as well as Daryl Hall & John Oates and underrated 80s UK prog-rock band Voyager, who once named her their #1 fan.
As well as winning an IndieBRAG Medallion, Hayley's debut novel, The Vermilion Ribbon, received an Honorary Mention in the BookFest Awards
TBA Helen Walton is a tea drinking, chocoholic, romance writer. Stories are her obsession, and she adores creating sweet and sensual romances containing a sprinkling of humor and the all-important happy ending. She lives in Australia with her family, and menagerie of quirky animals where they all take her away from her book world and demand to be fed. Lucky for them, she enjoys cooking but prefers baking.
Jade May grew up beach side in Australia with her nose buried in books, getting swept up in fearless adventures and lost in the fantasy of the supernatural. As an adult, her preferences shifted towards epic romances, adoring the pure escapism of the genre.
Jade is a marketer by day and writes in her spare time at night, mostly angst-filled romances that are hot and heavy (with a hint of kink) but always culminate in a happy ending. To write and provide escapism for others, is a dream come true for Jade.
Jade May currently resides in sunny Sydney, Australia, along with her two favourite humans; her husband and son
Hi, I'm Jade Thorn,
I'm a stay at home mother of 3 gorgeous wee monsters. I live in Australia with them, their Daddy, our pup, Smudge, and our pet fish.
I've been writing forever it seems. I had a passion for it as young as 9, but it never occured to me that others would like my little stories. I have oodles and oodles of half written pieces and slowly but surely I'm sharing them with you.
I'm finally doing what I've always dreamed of, and it's even better than I imagined. I do hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.
Jade

JC Rycroft is a fantasy author living on unceded Wadawurrung land. Their work draws on high and epic fantasy tropes, mixed with a dollop of queer romance, humour and wit, flawed but fabulous feminist heroes and diverse-in-all-the-ways characters, liberally sprinkled with philosophical concepts brought to life. She loves bringing together the apparent contradictions: high theory and silly humour, profound political concerns with a rollicking good story, and ordinary people with unexpected demands to heroism that somehow only they can answer.
Jessica A. McMinn is a grimdark fantasy author based in regional Australia with a passion for dark fantasy, dark coffee and cats (which, let’s face it, are all dark inside).

She now works as a freelance writer and offers editing and coaching services to authors. When she is not writing (which is more often than you’d think), Jessica can be found raising her two beautiful children or immersed in an audiobook while drawing, crafting or playing video games.

JL Skye is a romance author who loves writing emotionally rewarding happily ever afters. She lives in Australia with her husband, two soccer-mad sons and a cheeky dachshund who will do anything he can to distract her from writing.
She has a passion for starting the conversation around positive mental health and is all about surrounding yourself with the right found family.
When she’s not writing, JL Skye can be found curled up with a good book (romance, of course!), camping with her family, or running around on a netball court.
Meet Jo Speirs
Joanne Speirs grew up on a farm in a small rural community on the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia. Scouring the school library shelves for Sweet Valley High novels and sneaking a read of her mum's Mills & Boon books became a favourite pastime in her teens and fuelled her passion for reading and all things romance.
She lives in Adelaide with her two grown sons, husband and border collie named Zeb. When not writing, she works as an editor at Nurturing Words, specialising in editing manuscripts for other romance authors.
Her debut, Second Chance Love in Point Perry, was runner-up in the prestigious Romance Writers of Australia Valerie Parv Award in 2019 and was longlisted for the Romance Writers of Australia Emerald Award in 2020.
Lesley Jones was born and raised in Essex, England but moved to Australia in 2006 with her family. Her first book, Saviour, was published in 2013 and she quickly gained a reputation as a writer of gritty, down to earth characters, involved in angsty and emotional plot lines. Carnage, her third novel, made a number of lists, and won a number of awards for ‘Best Ugly Cry’. Her readers love the fact that she can switch her stories from hot and steamy, to snot bubble ugly crying, followed by laugh out loud moments, in the space of a few sentences. She has declared that the very best part of her job is meeting her readers and has travelled the world a number of times over the past few years to do exactly that. Lesley is a big fan of wearing pyjamas at any time of day, but not a fan of wearing a bra, unless absolutely necessary.
When not writing, she has admitted to being a prolific reader, getting through around four or five books a week. She is a fan of trashy reality TV, listening to music, watching her son play football, spicy food and enjoys a glass of wine… or three.

Hello I am Kate Louise an Australian romance author. I've recently wrapped up my debut novel and successfully navigated the journey of self-publishing with the help of a fantastic indie publisher. While I've dabbled in writing over the years, a surge of inspiration finally nudged me to start this exciting adventure.

Side Stage is uncomplicated and sweet, full of love and adventure. It's meant to provide comfort, a break away from all the heaviness in the world!

romance with spice that’ll make you squirm in your seat.
She loves creating relatable, flawed characters who work
for their HEA.
She lives in Adelaide, South Australia, with her
husband, two kids and her cat, Cecil.
Being Australian, Krystal uses words like mate and fuck more
than the average person, and in her free time (when she
doesn’t have a child attached to her arm or leg), you will
find her either reading or buying yet another house plant to
add to her collection.
Lauren Jackson is an Australian author of steamy romances who loves spending her time writing, reading, and hanging out with friends and family. She is always working on a new book, so stayed tuned for more!
Layla has been writing stories ever since she could pick up a pencil and shape words. The most memorable works of her tween and teen years included a rap version of 'Little Red Riding Hood' and an embarrassingly spicy high school camp/murder mystery (which was possibly a sign of things to come).
Layla studied Communications at Newcastle University in NSW, Australia, and worked as a buyer and marketing coordinator in the education sector, before joining her husband in the family retail business. That's still her day job (she's very lucky her boss is pretty lenient, or she'd never get any writing done).
Layla lives on an acreage in regional NSW with her husband, two rambunctious children, four mostly feral cats, and an ancient German Shepherd who still thinks he's a puppy. Oh, and some angry Plovers that swoop her every spring without fail.
Leisl Leighton writes paranormal romance and romantic suspense novels. She is a tall red head with an overly large imagination. As a child, she identified strongly with Anne of Green Gables, and like Anne, is a voracious reader and born performer. It came as no surprise when she went on to a career as a performer, script writer, script doctor, stage manager and musical director for cabaret and theatre restaurants.
After starting a family, Leisl stopped performing and began writing the stories plaguing her dreams. She is addicted to sci-fi and romance books and DVDs, she sometimes sings in a choir, loves to ski and horse ride, and was President of Romance Writers of Australia from 2014–2017. When she’s not writing, she helps other writers make their manuscripts shine.
International Award-winning Australian author Lisa Stanbridge has been writing ever since she could string sentences together. As a child, it started off with princesses in castles being rescued by Prince Charming. As a teenager she moved on to angsty teens struggling through life with raging hormones. Now, as a semi-mature adult, she writes sweet contemporary romances and romantic comedies about real people going through real struggles who want their HEA.
She has been shortlisted in many contests, and even won some! Her biggest award is for her debut novel, Abandoned Hearts, which won ‘Best First Book’ in the Koru Award of Excellence, run by Romance Writers of New Zealand.
When she’s not writing, Lisa works full time as a Software Tester. She reads anything she can sink her teeth into, and loves binging on TV shows, especially the British ones. Lisa loves lazy days at the beach reading or writing, but never swimming, and loves spending time with her husband and her friends.
LK Shear is a paranormal romance author from Gippsland, Australia. She loves why choose, and all of her books are set in the same universe, but written across a number of sub genres.
Louise Holland is a voracious reader, writer and long-time lover of all things fantasy, with bursting shelves full of books and those books full of complicated maps. She has played Dungeons & Dragons for many years, and uses her table’s adventures as inspiration for her works (she tries to keep the shopping chapters to a minimum).
She completed her first novel over three job changes, the back end of a pandemic, and an official adult ADHD diagnosis, cementing proof that there’s no motivation quite like spite. She lists Brandon Sanderson and Robin Hobb as her main author influences and listens to a completely normal amount of Taylor Swift.
Lorelei Johnson is an Australian romance author, primarily writing Paranormal Romance and Fantasy Romance. She graduated from Flinders University, where she studied English Literature and Creative Writing before she discovered her degree was useless and she hated studying in an institution. She went into administrative work where she learnt just enough business sense to start publishing her own books.
Lorelei is fuelled by caffeine and sarcasm, priding herself as a true 90's kid. She labels her self-publishing as anti-establishment, but really she's just a chicken who decided to avoid the gatekeepers all together and enjoy the freedom to write whatever the heck she likes. Through her writing, she likes to explore the many facets of love and revel in a little magic and a little smut, of course.
Originally from the South Island of New Zealand, Lou Vane now lives in Adelaide, Australia with her partner and two young sons, where she’s a full-time mum and writer.

When her nose isn’t buried in a book, she can be found spending quality time with her husband and two daughters or enthusiastically supporting her beloved Bruins.
In an effort to escape the pressures of adult life, she rediscovered her love of reading. After spending years immersing herself in emotionally traumatising romance novels, she found herself completely captivated by the intense emotional rollercoaster these stories offered their readers.
Stumbling onto her own idea, she fumbled her way through the often-difficult journey of becoming a novelist and fell in love with storytelling.
Through her writing, she channels her love of reading into creating romance novels that have the power to make readers experience a blend of both pain and love. She hopes one day readers will be just as enthralled in her stories as she is.

I grew up in Sydney, Australia, in a very creative household. My mum writes beautiful poetry, my eldest brother writes children’s stories, my middle brother writes fantasy and my dad writes screenplays.
I have always read books. When I was a child, my mum would read me Pollyanna by Eleanor H. Porter, along with other classics.
My mum has always been my greatest influence. She has always encouraged me to write and continue to better myself.
I had always planned on becoming a primary school teacher; however, when I left high school and entered University, I quickly realised that wasn’t what I wanted to do. I went into child care instead. That was my real passion. I completed a traineeship, then bounced around a few centres before landing at my current workplace. I have been there for over five years now. The company I work for are incredibly supportive, and have celebrated my achievements.
I have always loved writing. Even as a young child, I would make up stories, write plays and invent new characters. My writing style has never been conventional, although when it comes to a classic romance story, it’s as conventional as it gets!
I wrote Chapter One at a time in my life when I was feeling very vulnerable. I had just had a cancer scare; we were all going through a pandemic, and I lost a very young family member.
I realised that life was too short to miss out on the things I always wanted to do. Creative writing was a way for me to cope and was a personal goal I had always wanted to achieve.
I lead a busy life, and writing is just a small part. I also do lots of volunteer work, which is incredibly rewarding. I have always loved to give back to the community, and have done so ever since I was a child. Another trait I share with my mum.
